Architect Prof. Anne Feenstra visited the University Cancer Hospital in Bern Switerland in January 2024. Dr. Binaya Shrestha received and facilitated him for the purpose of developing collaboration and to implement the swiss models based on the customised and tailored needs of Swiss Nepal Cancer Hospital and Research Center. Prof. Feenstra met department heads of the hospital.

Prof. Feenstra will be looking over the design and different phases of the SNCHRC project.

A SNCHRC partner, Prof. Feenstra’s initiative Sustainable Mountain Architecture (SMA) focuses on sustainable design for mountainous areas, such as in Himalaya, improving building methods in the mountains.
